Card, valentine card
Handfinished Valentine's card comprising two sheets of lace paper. The under sheet by Dobbs Kidd & Company has a white lace paper border embossed with shell design and a central cream satin panel handpainted with a flower and leaf diamond design. The top sheet is of cream lace paper embossed with a flower design including an embossed wreath surrounding an oval shaped cream satin central panel. Applied to this panel a white paper shell representing a vase for an arrangement of dried grasses, embossed paper leaves and seaweed.
