Love in Two Volumes
Side opening Valentine's card composed of two sheets of lace paper. The undersheet is by John Windsor and has an embossed flower design and central oval shaped rectangular panel with handwritten motto 'Love in two volumes'. Applied to the panel a garland of embossed paper flowers and leaves and two paper cut outs of open books printed with love mottos. The top sheet of lace paper has an embossed floral wreath surrounding an oval panel handwritten 'Love in two volumes'. Applied to the panel a garland of embossed paper flowers and two paper cut out closed books which flap down to reveal the words 'courtship' and 'matrimony'.
