Card, valentine card
Valentine's card composed of two layers of embossed and lace paper with applied decoration. The under layer is stamped 'Windsor' and comprises a sheet of white paper heavily embossed with figures, trees and foliage. Applied to this sheet is a roundel of cream satin surrounded by a wreath of embossed paper flowers and leaves. Applied to the cream satin is a gilded paper harp. The top layer of lace paper is part painted silver and embossed with doves, flowers, a classical statue and figures of cupid. This layer also has applied decoration of metal foil tinsel red hearts and archways of embossed blue paper flowers. The two layers are attached by paper springs giving a 3d effect.
