Card, valentine card
Side opening valentine's card formed from two layers of embossed and lace paper with applied decoration. The under sheet marked 'Kershaw' is of white lace paper with a flower design and central oval shaped panel of rice paper handpainted with a lakeside view. The top lace paper sheet has a design of pillars and columns and is embossed with silver painted urns of flowers. Also applied to this layer a a gilded and cream embossed paper cut out figure of a woman and a garland of fabric leaves, flowers and dried grasses.
