Card, valentine card
Valentine's card of white lace paper with leaf design and central oval shaped panel. Applied to the panel two fake playing cards showing the King and Queen of Hearts and the handwritten motto 'I have something to declare. The cards lift to reveal the word 'Matrimony'. The last part of the message is concealed beneath a paper bouquet of flowers which also flaps down. At the top of the sheet is a small paper scrap marked 'Bezique'.
