Card, valentine card
Lace paper valentine's card with applied decoration. Comprising a sheet of silver painted lace paper by Mossman with cameo embossed figures of a classical pair of lovers in the centre flanked by two cupid figures. Applied to the centre of the sheet a coloured paper illustration of two classical figures in an idyllic setting framed by a wreath of gilded paper leaves. An outer frame comprises an elaborate wreath of white cotton leaves, dried and painted berries, green embossed leaves and glass beads.
