Cooker, electric cooker
Gas and electric cookers were replacing kitchen ranges in homes across London from the 1920s. Manufacturers often offered to 'hire out' cookers to those with a domestic electricity supply who could not afford to buy outright. This Magnet cooker was made by the General Electric Company.
