The Life of Cupid. Vol 2.
Valentine's card comprising layers of lace paper with applied decoration. Comprising a white lace paper sheet embossed with flower design and a central oval panel of cream satin. The panel is decorated with an applied wreath of pink fabric flowers and silver paper embossed leaves. In the centre is applied a folded piece of paper with watered silk cream cover entitled 'The Life of Cupid Vol.2'. When unravelled the paper reveals 13 square shaped coloured images of cupid in various situations. On the reverse are printed titles for the illustrations. An additional lilac coloured embossed and lace paper border is applied on top of the under border. This border has applied decoration of two garlands of gilded and white embossed flowers and foliage and a cream satin bow handpainted 'Love's Hope'.
