Affection's Tribute
Valentine's card comprising a sheet of white paper with applied decoration of a bouquet of fabric and paper flowers. Above is handwritten in blue 'Affection's Tribute', below is a paper scrap with handwritten message 'Not Hybla's Honey can compare with love I bear to thee Thy image in my breast I wear conserved in Constancy'. This decoration is framed by a white lace paper border embellished with purple thread and fabric and paper leaves applied to each corner. Also decorated with applied paper floral bouquets labelled 'Forget me now' and 'I think of thee'.
