Card, valentine card
Valentine's card comprising a sheet of lace paper embossed with archways, cherubs, a statue and leaf decoration. Under one of the archways is a rectangular shaped panel decorated with applied garlands of paper flowers. Also a crude pencil sketch of a slipper and the handwritten message 'Miniature sketch of a little glass slipper found. Dear ladies of the West or City Come try this on your feet so pretty The one it fits (don't laugh or titter) shall with me through life hunt the slipper'.
