Card, valentine card
Valentine's card formed from two layers of white lace paper with applied decoration. The top layer is by Dobbs Kidd & Co. and comprises a white lace paper border with embossed shell design. In the centre a cream satin panel handpainted with a blue and pink flower and leaf design. The under sheet is formed from a white lace paper border with a central oval shaped cream satin panel with applied decoration of a white paper conch shell containing seaweed, grasses & shells formed from paper, shells and dried foliage. This panel is framed by an embossed wreath of flowers, incorporated as part of the lace paper sheet. A small paper flower garland has also been applied.
