Card, valentine card
Valentine's card formed from two layers of white lace paper with applied decoration. The top layer is by Dobbs Kidd & Co. and comprises a white lace paper border with embossed shell design. In the centre a cream satin panel handpainted with a pink flower and leaf design. The under sheet is formed from a white lace paper border with a central oval shaped cream satin panel with applied decoration of a white paper conch shell containing seaweed and grasses formed from paper and dried foliage. This panel is framed by an embossed wreath of flowers, incorporated as part of the lace paper sheet. Also applied a small paper flower garland has also been applied.
