Printed Ephemera — 1851-1870
My love for you is stronger than the [lion]
Valentine's card with white lace paper border embossed with flower design. In the centre an oval shaped white panel to which is applied a small paper cut out head of a lion with the message 'My love for you is stronger than the [lion]. Also decorated with a small garland of embossed green paper leaves. The lion's head is a flap, which when lifted reveals a paper ring and the handwritten message 'unity is strength'.
