Card, valentine card
Valentine's card of embossed and lace paper layers with applied decoration. Comprising an undersheet of white lace paper embossed with a pillared archway, a woman reclining and a peacock. With a central cream satin panel to which is applied a paper illustration of cupid riding a cloud. This image is surrounded by a circular frame of white fabric leaves. The top layer of layer paper is part gilded and embossed with cherubs and flowers. Applied to this layer is a garland of embossed and coloured paper flowers and leaves and an oval shaped frame of white and silver paper and cotton fabric leaves.
