Love
Valentine's card of embossed and lace paper layers with applied decoration. The bottom layer comprises a white sheet with rectangular shaped plain central panel and a lace paper border embossed with fruits and flowers, made by Windsor. Above this is applied an opaque paper panel handpainted with flowers and marked 'Love'. Also decorated with an oval paper image of a what seems to be a priest and cupid surrounded by an outer border of embossed gilded and silver foliage. The top layer comprises a border of silver lace paper with an open central cartouche bordered by embossed roses and cotton lace.
