Card, valentine card
Valentine's card of embossed lace paper layers with applied decoration. The top layer is of silver lace paper with central open panel framed by embossed roses. Two embossed white paper hands reach out to the middle of the open panel. The two halves of this layer fold out from the centre to reveal the layer below. This under layer is formed from a lace paper border and central panel of cotton net. Through the net can be seen a coloured paper illustration stuck to the inside of the card of two figures. This image if framed by an arrangement of gilded and white paper embossed leaves applied to the top of the netting. Also decorated by a garland of embossed and coloured flowers and an additional lace paper border painted light green.
