Card, valentine card
Valentine's card of embossed and lace paper layers with applied decoration. The top layer is of silver lace paper with central open panel framed by embossed roses. Two embossed white paper hands reach out to the middle of the open panel, one hand is holding a gilded wedding ring. The two halves of this layer fold out from the centre to reveal the two under layers. The bottom layer is of white embossed and lace paper with a central panel of cotton net. Applied to the centre of the panel is a rossette of gilded lace paper with an embossed image of cupid astride a silver bird. Another layer of gilded lace paper is attached above this layer by small sections of folded paper. Applied to this layer is an oval wreath of embossed paper flowers, a cotton bow, a paper scrap printed 'To her I love' and an additional lace paper border painted lilac.
