Card, valentine card
Valentine's card. The front formed from two layers of embossed & lace paper. The under layer is painted light blue and is heavily embossed with figures of lovers within a forest setting. This layer has the maker's mark 'Windsor'. The top layer is also elaborately embossed with figures of cupid, angels, flowers and urns. A roundel in the top centre has an applied paper panel decorated by coloured flowers. At the bottom of the card is a garland of applied embossed coloured paper flowers and a piece of paper printed with a romantic verse.
