Card, valentine card
Valentine's card the front formed from two layers of embossed and lace paper. The top layer is cut in the shape of the figure '8' and is part gilded and embossed at the top with three angel figures. In the centre are applied a coloured paper illustration of a flower arrangement and a circular shaped piece of cream satin printed with a verse entitled 'The Heart That's True' bordered by white fabric leaves. Also applied to this layer is an arrangement of green and blue embossed paper flowers. The larger under layer comprises an elaborate lace paper sheet part painted silver with a central embossed and lace paper image of a female surrounded by cherubs.
