Card, valentine card
Valentine's card the front cover comprising two layers of paper attached by small folded pieces of paper to give a 3d effect. The top layer is decorated with lace paper embossed with flower decoration part gilded and part painted green. In the centre is applied a coloured paper garland printed with the words 'Believe my love for thee sincere, For to my heart thou art most dear'. The central area forms arched doors which open to reveal cotton netting through which the under layer can be seen. This under layer comprises a sheet of white paper with a lace paper border. In the centre is applied an oval shaped coloured illustration of a dancing maiden bordered by white fabric leaves and lace paper painted silver. The under sheet is stamped 'Windsor'.
