Card, valentine card
Valentine's card of white lace paper with cameo style embossing of classical figures. In the open centre is stuck a piece of lilac paper applied to which is an embossed and coloured 'scrap' of a blindfold cupid holding a bow and arrow. The card opens to reveal a sheet of light blue paper with lace paper edging. In the centre of this inner sheet is applied an embossed image, part painted silver, of two female angels holding cupid aloft. Below the image is applied a pink printed scroll 'May thy way thro' life's journey with roses be spread. And the sunshine of beauty play over they head.' Applied to the bottom of the sheet is a a white and green embossed flower garland 'scrap' embellished with gold metal foil tinsel flowers.
