Great Suffrage Demonstration
Printed handbill announcing a suffragette demonstration to be held on 24 November in the Bow Palace, Bow Road. Speakers included Emmeline Pankhurst and George Lansbury, the Labour Party member of parliament for Bow and Bromley, who was a staunch supporter of women's suffrage. The bill is printed in the purple, white and green colours of the Women's Social and Political Union.
