The way to the Japan-British Exhibition
Leaflet providing information about rail excursions to the Japan-British exhibition at White City. Issued by the travel agent, Thomas Cook & Sons it provides details, timetables and costings for visitors wishing to travel on an organised rail trip from Yorkshire to White City. White City could accommodate up to one million visitors each day. As a private enterprise it needed to attract visitors from all over the UK to cover the huge costs of the exhibitions. Many visitors arrived on organised excursions.
