Mr Barnes as Pantaloon / Signor Paulo as Clown
Hand-coloured theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of two actors in character roles: Mr Barnes as Pantaloon and Signor Paulo as Clown. The plate forms 'No 3 of Baileys Large Character Plates or No 2 of Pantomime Characters'. Such portraits would have been sold as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
