Mr T.P.Cooke as Union Jack
Theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr T.P.Cooke in the role of Union Jack. The portrait, which is uncoloured, has been cut out of a paper sheet and mounted on a piece of card handcoloured with background scenery. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home. Coloured and sold Wholesale & Retail by Redington at his Theatrical Print, Play & Tinsel Warehouse (Hoxton) and also sold by Jonathan King (Somers Town).
