Sheath, sheath lining
Leather lining for a leather sheath for a narrow bladed knife or dagger. Centre back seam . There is a small hole near the mouth, probably asociated with the suspension slots that would have gone through the outer sheath. It is possible that the flesh surface has been turned outwards (a feature noted on other sheath linings) but it is difficult to identify due to the condition of the surface.
