Mr J Halford as Pantaloon
Uncoloured theatrical souvenir portrait printed with an engraving of the actor Mr J. Halford in the role of Pantaloon. The background, body and head are all taken from seperate sheets and stuck together. The background has been hand coloured and the head has been partially hand coloured but the body is still plain. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home. Sold by Redington at his 'Theatrical Print, Play & Tinsel Warehouse' (Hoxton) and by J.King (Somers Town).
