Theatrical portrait
Handcoloured theatrical souvenir plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr Macready in an unnamed role. The portrait has been cut out and stuck on a piece of card handcoloured with background scenery. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
