Poster or bill advertising 'A Grand Day Fete' to be held at the Royal Gardens, Vauxhall on 13th August 1835 to celebrate the birthday of King William IV's wife, Adelaide. Printed in black ink on yellow paper the poster includes an engraving of Mr Green and his brother in their balloons holding aloft a banner marked 'Long Live the Queen.' The highlight of the celebrations being 'A race between two balloons Mr C Green, the celebrated Aeronaut, against his brother'.
