Tinsel print
Handcoloured theatrical souvenir print engraved with a portrait of unnamed actress in character role on horseback. The portrait is embellished with metal foil tinsel ornaments notably on the dress accessories and horse livery. The clothing is of paper and silk. The portrait has been cut from a paper sheet and mounted on card hand coloured with background scenery. Such portraits would have been sold plain for colouring and tinselling at home.
