Chariot fitting
Cast bronze fitting of a type sometimes called a 'chariot-horn cap' or yoke-finial. It consists of a flat disc with raised concentric ridge near edge. Below is a hollow funnel-shaped projection. This is perhaps more likely to have been the head of a ceremonial wooden sceptre. Found in the Thames at Hammersmith.
