Printed Ephemera — 1908
Mrs. Drummond Opposite the Terrace of the House of Commons Addressing M.P.'s, Inviting them to the Hyde Park Demonstration
Flora Drummond and a group of suffragettes on a steam launch opposite the terrace of the House of Commons. Flora is shown addressing members of parliament, inviting them to Women's Sunday, the first major demonstration organised by the Women's Social and Political Union (W.S.P.U.) on 21 June 1908. The suffragette leaders were highly inventive and constantly devising new and original ways of promoting the cause and announcing meetings and demonstrations.
