Badge
Badge for the Sir John Cass School. The decoration is in relief (repousse) with the coat of arms at the centre around which is the inscription, 'Sir John Cass Kt Ald of Port Ward 1710'. There is a maker's stamp on the reverse comprising 'Y' over 'V S' in a cartouche. This type of badge was in use until around 1897.
