Printed Ephemera — 1951
The Festival Church
Leaflet advertising religious services held during August 1951 at the church of St John, Waterloo Road, as part of the Festival of Britain. The church was rebuilt after it was destroyed by a wartime bomb, and was re-dedicated as the official Festival church. It was conveniently located close to the South Bank site which was the centrepiece of the Festival.
