Children's chapbook with the full title printed on the title page 'Bailey's New Moral Juvenile Library the renowned history of Little Red Riding Hood or the wicked wolf. An entertaining and instructive story for youth of either sex rewritten and moralized by Mrs Wilkinson embellished with 6 handsome coloured copper plates'. The soft buff card front cover is also printed with the title details whilst the back cover is printed with a listing of all titles published by Joseph Bailey. The inside cover Includes a handwritten dedication and the owner's signature 'Jane Clark Coleman'. Such chapbooks were published as a series that together would create a 'juvenile library'.
