Dorothy the Wife of Richard Cromwell
Dorothy the Wife of Richard Cromwell. Richard, Oliver's third son and his successor, married Dorothy Maijor, daughter of Richard Maijor, a member of the Hampshire gentry, in 1649. During the 1650s they had nine children, five of which did not survive to adulthood.
