From a Medal in Silver by T. Simon in the Cabinet of Charles Rinald Berch of Stockholm
Bulstrode Whitelock (1605-1675), lawyer and moderate politician who was appointed to various posts by the Commonwealth. "From a Medal in Silver by T. Simon in the Cabinet of Charles Rinald Berch of Stockholm." The obverse is shown above the reverse, with sprigs of ?rosemary crossed between them. The reverse of the medal says: "Bulst Rodus Whitelocus custos primarius magni sigilli Angliae; constabula: castri di Windsor senes chal. Oxonii aetatis 49: 1653. Bulstrode Whitelock.
