Lieutenant General Lambert
Lieutenant General Lambert, engraved for the Universal Magazine. Lambert (c1619-1684) was a key figure in the Parliamentarian army and among the last to oppose the Restoration; he spent the last 24 years of his life in prison. The date is based on Hinton's floreat.
