Drinking glass, wine glass
Wine glass with a yellow bowl and foot, the colourless stem with flecks of gold leaf. The tulip-shaped bowl with four pairs of (alsatian) blue prunts above applied, drawn and marvered (melted in) Amber threading, set on a thin loosely twisted stem and plain foot. Designed by Harry Powell in c.1899, possibly produced until 1933, similar to pattern no. 1082 but of a different size. Arch. cf. K & Q. AD, 1898-1899, vol. I, p. 132. DK, 2, 1899-1900, p. 332.
