Handbill or flyer announcing the exhibition of the 'Greatest Lady in the World' at Regent Street on 19th September 1846. The flyer describes the 'living exhibit' named Mrs Elizabeth Armitage as being aged 29 and weighing 31 stone 11 lbs and includes quotes from medical experts and the press. The exhibition took place at the Cosmorama Rooms, 209 Regent Street was best know for the display of panoromas and peepshows.
