Badge, secular badge
Secular badge in the shape of a heart with two quatrefoils, or flowers, sprouting on top (a third now missing). The heart has a pearled border. The badge was possibly a lover's token, as flowering hearts were common symbols on betrothal and wedding rings of the period.
