Pitcher, spouted pitcher
Pingsdorf-type ware pot decorated with a design of red painted scrolls on the upper half. Pingsdorf-type ware vessels were made in different places in the Rhineland from the 10th to the 12th centuries. It was exported in large quantities to northern Germany, the Netherlands, England and Scandinavia.
