Costrel
Leather costrel, constructed from 2 leather panels. Tall narrow form with eared handles on shoulders and small opening above. Circular base panel stitched to large main panel which wraps around whole main body, with stitched seam along one side. Stitched around both shoulders. Stitching survives. Small hole in each shoulder, through which a thin leather cord handle is threaded, knotted at each end. Line of impressed dots around base just above stitched seam. Leather cracked.
