Description

Book. Twenty cartoons of the problems of wearing crinolines. Dated from an advert in the Morning Post for Wednesday 12 January 1859: "Crinoline, its Dangers and its Difficulties. A Series of 20 Illustrations by QUIZ, 6d in cloth ; or on sheet imperial size, 22 in. by 30 in., price, plain, 1s. 6d., coloured, 2s. 6d. A list of Cruikshank's and Alfred Crowquill's Comic publications, varying from 6d. to 2s. 6d., may be had on application to Read and Co., Publishers, Johnson's-court, Fleet-street."
