Drinking glass, beaker
'Carillon des Souvenirs et de Joie' vase made in Sea Green glass with applied decoration in Pale Blue. Stangenglas with a tall narrow flaring bowl on a high pedestal foot, with an applied blue wavy collar at the junction and four flattened prunts on the foot. The bowl wheel-engraved with a pattern of harebells and inscribed 'Carillon des Souvenirs et de Joie' (bells of memories and of joy) around the rim. Pattern no. 1414, designed by Harry Powell for the coronation of Edward VII in 1902. Arch. G (ref. 4005); Arts & Crafts exhibition 1903; St. Louis exhibition 1904. Illustrated in W. Evans, C.
