Printed Ephemera
Saint Christabel
Black and white drawing of ‘Saint Christabel' (Christabel Pankhurst) by Charles Sykes. The drawing shows Christabel wearing a votes for women sash and manacles around her wrists. The Houses of Parliament are depicted in the background with a flag which reads ‘Pas Encore’. The artist has created the illusion that the image has been damaged. Part of the collection of objects relating to the Suffragette Movement, given by the Suffragette Fellowship, 1950.
