Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1853; Obv inscription: IOHN.PINSON.AT.THE.BELL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Head of a Turk (in field); Rev inscription: SAVIGG.AT.LVD.GATE.HILL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A chequer board (in field).
