Saint Catherine
Wax effigy of St Catherine stored in wooden box with glass front. Box has metallic paper inner lining and is decorated with flowers of cloth, wire and paper. The figure has a painted wax head, hands and feet and mohair hair. She has a silver metal foil hair decoration which is tarnished, a wand in her left hand and a gold foil nimbus above her head. She wears a silk dress decorated with gold lace and a spangle decoration. The figure is standing on a silk covered cushion trimmed with gold braid.
