Dress
Woman's dress made from Liberty printed wool and cotton suedette. The wool is printed to give the look of patchwork. The black print has white cross lines upon it, while the other 'patchwork' pieces include flowers, butterflies and other naturalistic and oriental motifs, all in subdued and earthy tones. The front is separated under the bustline by a horizontal band of patterned wool beneath which is a triangular shape, pointing down. The top part of the dress is mostly suedette set square to form a v-shaped neckline which is trimmed in wool. The full skirt is divided into four panels, the whole being trimmed at the hem with a frill.
The dress was worn by Julia Parker.
