Archaeology — Late Bronze Age (900BC-700BC)
Bronze, razor
It seems likely that this object, already many centuries old, was re-discovered during the Roman period. Its finder tested the metal content by scratching the blade. When this was found wanting it was discarded in a ditch. Found during archaeological excavations at 15-17 Brighton Road, Croydon.
